Tap Dancing Time Steps : Tap Dancing: Single Traveling Time Step

Hi, I’m Emily Larew, and we are going to take
a look at a single traveling time step, as we get into our intermediate time steps. So,
let’s turn around. We’re going to start with our right foot, we’re going to go shuffle,
step, right underneath yourself. Left foot goes, shuffle, ball change, ball change. So
you’re going to take that ball change as we do it, we only do two ball changes, and we’re
going to move them to the right. So it chases the right foot. Good. And as you can tell,
I’m not on my heels. Seven and, shuffle step, shuffle, ball change, ball change. One more
time. Five, six, seven, and shuffle step, shuffle, ball change, ball change. Your left
foot’s going to go brush hop, so you’re going to brush it backwards. Brush, hop, you’re
going to jump onto it, jump, shuffle, jump. So let’s do that last bit of that time step.
So after a shuffle, step, shuffle, ball change, ball change, your left foot’s free to go brush,
hop, jump, shuffle, jump. Good. And then from there your left foot’s free to take it back
to the left. So let’s try it together slow, six, seven, and shuffle, step, shuffle, ball
change, ball change, brush, hop, jump, shuffle, jump, shuffle, step, shuffle, ball change
to the left, brush, hop, jump, shuffle, jump, and then you’ll just keep repeating it back
and forth, right and left, and that’s your single traveling time step.

Slow it down a bit for beginners.
