♪And oh my dreams ♪ ♪ It’s never quite as it seems ♪ – It’s been almost eight
months since The Cranberries singer, Dolores O’Riordan,
tragically passed away and the coroners finally
announced the cause of death, saying she accidentally
drowned in the bath tub due to alcohol intoxication. Dolores was found in a London
hotel on the morning of January 15. She didn’t leave a note and
there was no evidence of self harm. Five miniature alcohol bottles
and a bottle of champagne were found in the room and
toxicology tests revealed a blood alcohol level four times
the legal limit for driving. Therapeutic amounts of
prescription medication were also found. Now according to BBC News,
the singer checked into London’s Park Lane Hilton
Hotel on January 14 and contacted room service around
midnight and called her mother around three in
the morning London time. She was found unresponsive
and confirmed dead at 9:16 AM. Now at the time of her death,
she was in London for a recording session and
was also planning a tour. Such a tragic loss, but
there is no doubt she will eternally live on in her music. Now for more on this very

I still feel her death was already forgotten which is a shame – all their songs are already pop-culture references and iconic.
