Floor Mounted & Wall mounted Toilet Seat
This is couple closet WC with tank. The material the Flush Tank is same as the WC which is ceramic. The flush buttons are provided on top of the flush tank. This is Half Flush and Full Flush. Half flush means 6 liters. And full Flush will flush 9 liters. This WC is Floor mounted with outlet pipe called S-trap. S-trap pipe is joint beneath. The outlet pipe which is used for floor mounted is called as S-trap. For Wall mounted WC, it is called P-trap. You see this seat cover is slow falling or Soft Closing. If you leave this from top, it will come down slowly and sit on WC seat. Traditionally WC’s had a separate vent pipe. Vent pipes were designed to bring down the dirty smell that used to return from the pipe. The newly designed closets, have a water level maintained even after flushing. The water is filled to a level. So that the dirty smell that used to return, doesn’t return back in closet. That is why modern designed WC’s do not have vent pipes attached separately. This is wall mounted WC and that’s why P-trap pipe is used. Wall mounted means it gets fitted on wall. The floor is free. This WC is higher than floor level. The advantage of such WC’s is that while you cleaning such bathrooms or toilets, you can clean the entire floor nicely. Whereas with floor mounted WC, since it is fitted on floor, you cannot clean the edge very easily. No matter how much you clean. it looks dirty. These days modern home owners usually prefer wall mounted WC only. Because the bathroom appears to be more spacious, and the floor is free and entirely visible. And I think this occupies lesser space lengthwise, right? Yes, it occupies lesser length. These are designed to be more compact. So if your bathroom or toilets are smaller in size, prefer having wall mounted WC only. Also if you get concealed flush tanks installed, it will save on space. With wall mounted WC you will have concealed flush tank only. or concealed / flush wall. What is the difference in concealed flush tank and flush wall? Concealed flush tank which is plastic tank, is fitted inside wall. And flush wall has a diverter or diverter like body that gets concealed inside wall.
