Bridal Shower Party for Alexandrea Garza

By Grover Koelpin 22 comments

– Hey everybody, I’m Alex. So, I have a channel on Kin Community where I focus on beauty and fashion, and even wedding planning so if you guys want to check out my channel we’ll have that link down below so you guys can go see all of that. But, my mom and I are here in California today for my bridal shower
with everybody at Kin, and we can’t wait. We’re so excited so
we’re gonna head on in. – So, I’m here with all these other talented creators from
Kin Community today. Each one of us has created a little bit something different to contribute to the shower, and as we go around and see what each person made, you’ll be able to click through to their channel for a full step-by-step tutorial to find out exactly how to make it. – Okay, I think Alex is here. (all shouting greetings) ♫ First time I saw you walk on by ♫You’ve got the look. ♫ Talk of the town and
the queen of style ♫ – [ Kelly] Okay Alex, are you ready for a delicious cocktail? – [Alex] I can’t wait. – I think I’ve got you covered. So, if you’re gonna have a party, you’ve got to have a signature cocktail to set the mood, right? And this champagne spritzer is definitely my go to drink for any
great daytime party. It’s perfect for a
bridal shower like today. It’s great for a baby shower. It’s also really nice
because you can easily modify it for anyone who
doesn’t drink alcohol. And here’s how you make it. So you’re gonna start out with a few ice cubes in your glass. I always like to use Prosecco. It looks really nice at a party, and everything’s better
with bubbles, right? – [Alex] I think so. – You’re gonna fill the glass halfway filled with your Prosecco. Next, sparkling cranberry juice. The sparkling cranberry
juice just gives it obviously really delicious flavor, plus it’s double the
bubbles, which I love. Then you’re gonna drop
in a little lemon twist for a delicious burst of citrus, and finish off with a sprig of mint. See what you think. – [Alex] It looks great. – So good. – Okay ladies, champagne spritzers. Who wants a cocktail? – [All] I do! – Okay, Alex. Kristen tackled a major project for the decor of this shower. You’ve got to check out
these amazing chairs. – [Alex] These are adorable! – I love them! – For Alex’s bridal shower I made these color blocked, yarn wrapped party chairs. They’re great, anyone can make them, there’s no knitting required, and it offers a really
festive pop of color to your party no matter where you’re hosting it because they’re temporary. So if you are interested in creating your own party chairs, please click the annotation to go to my
channel, Studio Knit. It offers how-to tutorials
for beginning knitters, as well as some really fun crafty projects that anyone can make. – Hi Gemma. – How are you? – It looks like it’s cake time. So, everybody who knows Gemma has seen her incredibly delicious desserts, and today she really went out of her way to make you something
special for your shower. – I never show up empty-handed to a party so today I made a heart themed cake for the bridal shower. It is really easy to
create and impressive. If you want to see how you can click the annotation and head
over to my channel, Bigger, Bolder Baking. My channel is about over the top desserts that you can make from scratch. I’ve created a heart themed cake for you, and a little pink heart for yourself and one for Michael. – Oh, it’s so cute! – I can’t wait to eat it. – Me too. (bright pop music) – Thank you. – Kelly, would you like some? – I need a piece! – Yeah – Yum! So good! – You can’t have a good
party without cake. (bright pop music) – This is one of my favorites. This is from Robert, and he had 12 p.m. to 2. – For this bridal shower, we have this fun around the clock theme, and I did all of the gift wrap. You can click the annotation and go check out the full tutorial over on my channel. I have sewing tutorials, crochet projects, and I am going to show you three easy ways to make your gift wrapping extra special so check it out. Okay, this one is from
Gemma, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. – Okay, let’s see. I hate to open it because it’s so pretty. – I got you a coffee grinder. Men love coffee grinders
and to grind their own coffee so for four years I haven’t had to make
a cup of coffee because it’s always made for me so you’re welcome. – Thank you so much, Gemma, I love it. I can’t wait to try it. – [Voiceover] If you guys
want to see in detail about all of these presents
and all of these amazing gifts I got today go ahead and check out Kin Community’s Facebook page. – Okay, I’m interrupting your unwrapping for one second because
who wants to top off that amazing cake with cookies? – [all] Yes! – [Kelly] Lainey, you have to show us these delicious cookies you made. – They’re just Oreos dipped in chocolate, and I added some personal touches for your wedding, gold sprinkles. – Thank you. – Today for Alex’s wedding shower I brought chocolate dipped Oreos, and I added a personal touch by adding gold sparkles. If you head over to my
channel I will show you exactly how to make it. Don’t forget to click the annotation, and it will take you right there. – My whole wedding is going to be covered in gold glitter
so these would be perfect. – Yay. (sweet music) – Okay ladies! We are a lucky group of girls because we have party favors created by the one and only Robert. – I love the tradition of a party favor because it sends your guest home with a sweet souvenir of your special day. Now for Alex’s wedding
shower I pulled together these plantable paper kits. The little butterflies on top are created from handmade paper embedded with seeds, and the kit contains
everything you’ll need to grow your own beautiful flowers. For the complete tutorial, click on the annotation, and view the video here on Kin. So you plant the butterfly in the soil, and within a couple of weeks they will germinate and sprout, and hopefully it will be a souvenir of our afternoon together, and a reminder of your
great trip to Los Angeles. – Oh, that’s so sweet, I love it. This is so cool. You guys this was awesome. Thank you so much. I should have know with
Kin Community creators everything was going to
be spot on those details. You guys are so creative, and attention to detail is perfect. – Cheers to Alex! (all cheering) – Thank you all so much for watching. We hope you had as good a time as we did at this bridal shower here today. Make sure to subscribe to Kin Community, and click on the playlist down below to watch everybody’s videos so you can see the step by step tutorials
of all the projects we made here today. Hope you got some great
ideas for your next party. See you next time. After party! (All cheer)
