Baby Bubble Bath – Biggest Bubble Tub Ever

By Grover Koelpin 100 comments

– Today is going to be awesome because we are gonna have the biggest
baby bubble bath ever! Chell just woke up from her nap, so I’m gonna go get her
and we’re gonna have the biggest baby bubble bath. Yes, technically, she’s a toddler but everybody loves bubble baths, come on. Hey Chell, how was your nap? You ready to take a bubble bath? – Yeah! – Let’s go! So Chell’s taken bubble baths before and this isn’t something super new, but we finally have the good bubbles, the ones that come in the pink one. It’s Mr. Bubble, I think it’s called, and so this bubble bath
is gonna be amazing. I can tell you’re excited! You ready? – Mmhmm. – OK, you’re gettin’ in already? OK, get in there. I’m just pouring it straight in. We’re not measuring capfuls. Alright, you’re gonna stir the bubbles up. That always helps you have more bubbles. (light upbeat music) Is that enough bubbles? Enough bubble bath? Are you all done? (mumbles) Are you all done? (screams) (growls)
(screaming) (laughing) What are they doing, Atlas? All sorts of crazy stuff. Atlas, you’re in the bubble phase too. You’re blowing lots of bubbles. Caught making fart noises like this. What is this? (blowing raspberries) You guys, I have to tell
you this table has been one of the best purchases
we have ever made. You love this table, don’t ya Chell? Yep, it is where you eat all of your food, you work on projects, it has been awesome. When we eat dinner now,
Chell doesn’t wanna sit at the table, she wants
to sit at the little table except right now. Whatcha doing missy? You sneaking my food? She’s so sneaky. She waited until I was
talking to you guys, came over here and started eating my food. Sneaky lady, my food is
the exact same as yours. Well if you’re gonna eat my food, I’m gonna eat your food. I can sit at the little table. Eat with my hands ’cause
my fork fell on the ground. – That’s mine! – [Kristen] Well you’re eating mine. Do you wanna trade back? Are you done with my food? – [All] Yay! – That’s super sneaky. – [Kristen] More please. – [Dad] More please. (Chell babbling) Watch me dip, watch me nae nae. Watch me dip, dip, watch me nae nae. Is that how it goes? – [Kristen] I have no idea. – [Dad] We’re parents now. We’re not supposed to say those things. – [Parents] Yay! – So I have to tell you this
story that I just told Kristen ’cause I realize it’s probably
a good story to tell you too. So I’m working on music right now and earlier today, I went to the store and I grabbed myself a soda. I know it’s kinda big, whatever. There was a security guard in the store and the security guard, you could tell he was like visibly upset like
something was bothering him. So, anyway, I checked out and everything and then I go outside and
I see the security guard on the phone and he was, he must have
been talking to his boss or something and he was saying, “Come on, come on, this is no good. “I can’t do this. “I don’t get to see my kids. “You’re telling me that
I have to work from “whatever time til 10 PM, “then I gotta get up early
in the morning and be here “bright and early at six AM?” He’s like, “I haven’t
seen my kids in so long.” I didn’t listen too much
to the conversation but, I got back in the car and I
closed my eyes for a second and I just imagined what
it would be like to be in his shoes and realizing that a lot of men are in that position. Maybe not necessarily to that
extreme but the fact that a lot of you out there, ya know, don’t get to see your kids often as we do. It just, it made me
really, really thankful for this job, for this, what we do. It makes me so thankful
to be able to do that and it makes me so thankful that you guys are part of the reason,
a big part of the reason that we are here being able to do this. You are allowing Kristen
and I to stay home with Chell and Atlas. I couldn’t imagine going to a regular job and only getting like weekends. And then there are some people
that work opposite shifts. Sometimes the dads, just
to keep up with the bills will work the night times and
the moms work the daytimes. So even the parents don’t
get to see each other. (Chell whining) Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you. For allowing me to be home
with my crying children. I gotta take care of this little girl. I’m really glad that I
get to be here to do that. (Chell yelling) – [Chell] And go. – You ready to jump on the couch? Here you go. Jump, jump, jump, jump, jump, jump, jump, jump,
jump, jumpin on the couch. – [Kristen] Hi Atlas. (baby cooing) – He’s my little brother. – He loves you. – He does. (laughing) ♪ Love hurts ♪ – [Cory] He’s like, “Dad, she’s so crazy.” – [Kristen] So much love! OK, Kory’s trying to get back to work. – I know, it’s really hard. – [Kristen] You’ve been
trying for a while. – Look what happens when
you try to go back to work. You say, “By Atlas. “See you later.” And then what happens? Then what happens? You get a smile.
– Yeah. – You can’t help playing with
Atlas ’cause he’s so cool. – Well I think we are gonna
relax and watch a movie now that Cory is back at
work because I need me some little kid cuddles. Thank you guys so much
for hanging out with us. I hope you had as much fun as we did and I hope you have an awesome day. We will see you tomorrow where we are definitely gonna do some more fun things. Right Atlas? Yeah, today was fun, tomorrow will be too.

My parents lined their schedules up so my dad was home during the day while my mom worked. He was also the only parent who could drive so it worked incase something happened at school and I needed to come home. When my mom came home in the afternoon, she would watch me and my dad would go to work. I would only see my dad an hour out if his working days and the only day off they had together to enjoy one another's company all day was Saturday. Almost thirty years later they're still happily together and still making their crazy schedules work.

Yes, you are both blessed to stay home and be with your children. Please know that the two of you are special for putting the kids first, while also making time to nurture your marriage. It is not only the amount of time you get to spend with the kids, but the quality of that time. My heart hurts for the men and women who miss their children everyday as they earn barely enough to make ends meet. It is a privilege to watch and grow with your family. I love it when people comment that you are relationship goals. 😀 Keep up the great lives you two make happen. My hugs and prayers to all the parents who have to go to work everyday, then come home and share love with their families no matter how tired they are. ❤️❤️❤️

Chell in bubble bath heaven… so adorable! Cory it is wonderful that you are aware of your blessings. I was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom for 6 yrs (daughter was 6 and son 4). But their Dad was in the Navy and gone for 9 mos out of the year those 6 years. So we didnt have him sadly. When I did have to go to work, it was as a RN, 12 hour shifts. It was horrible. I missed so much of their busy years (sports, dances, etc) I pray that you and Kristen can remain home. No matter what it is the love you share that will always be with them. You all are so special. Atlas was smiling when you were bouncing him on the the couch. He will be laughing soon!

I work full time and share custody so I value every minute with my daughter. She's undergoing testing right now for tuberous sclerosis, and we're fairly certain this is the cause of her autism. I may have to go down to part time to be more available for her, but I don't see how that is possible, and it's absolutely heartbreaking being forced to balance making a living and raising my child. But I am only one of millions who are in exactly the same situation. Value every minute with your babies!!! You bring light and love, and everyone needs that.

My fiance is gone for work from 1:50 until 1:30am most nights and from 9:50 to 5:30 most Saturdays when they are busy. I work super part time (usually only 1-3 days a week) in the mornings until 3 and I work most Sundays from 11-7. On weeks that he works Saturdays and I work Sundays we don't get a day off together and only see each other for the few short hours before he goes to work on my days off. We have a 2 year old daughter and another due in 9 weeks and I hate that he has to work so much and can't see our kids as much as he should be able to.

Leave the house for an employment contract with a fixed salary vs stay at home and try everything, to pay the bills.
Fixed working hours and legally required breaks vs manage it yourself 24/7.
Your boss tells you, what to do vs you are your boss, squeeze your mind for good ideas.

Cory, as wonderful and enviable staying at home as a youtuber may be, I don't want to walk in your shoes!

One of the sad things I've learned about the USA is that the supposedly most developed country in the world treats it's employees the worst! I honestly don't know of any other developed country that tears apart so many families by overworking them & paying them terribly low wages/salaries. It truly breaks my heart.

Unfortunately, I will be doing that when I have my child. I will have to go third shift, unless we can both make a good amount of money to place them in daycare. It sucks, but you do what you got to. I'm working so hard right now to get a higher paying job. I've been working healthcare for ten years, but no one sees that as "enough experience" for manager positions. I'm going completely out of my element, trying a brand new job, if I get it, just to be able to have a child. If not, I"m going to have to make that sacrifice, but I will for my little ones. That's what you learn, right? You'll do anything.

As a Security Guard my self, we have to sacrifice our families to do our jobs, as the bosses and clients don’t care. But on top of that here in New Zealand we guards do not get paid well, which means we take the extra hours, which means we do not get to do things with our families.

I don’t comment a ton but I wanna tell you how much this video means to me. I am not with my fiancé as we have a long distance relationship. But me and him are definitely talking about having children already, of taking how we would raise a kid. Things we would get, the whole shebang.

And even though I know I won’t be able to have the situation you have now, I dream of little moments we will have and I realize how lucky you are to do what you do.

Even though I wanna work and I know my fiancé will too, we both also wouldn’t mind staying home like this either. The way you are so involved with your kids should be a shining example of fatherhood.

No longer a father who only works, no longer the mom being the primary caregiver, so on and so forth.

I hope this country will change its laws for maternity and paternity leave. These should to be something to be provided for as especially early months are extremely I,portent for bonding and growth and development of relationships. I think of how different it is in Sweden or Iceland, and just wonder if we can ever get there because how greedy the corporate hold is.

Thanks for being a super dad, Cory! And I’m an old fan, met you once at a Meetup in NYC and got the best hug from you.

I still wear the SMP shirt I bought then, like 5 or 6 years ago? Anyways, I was a fan for longer then that too, maybe close to 10 years. So, I wanna say I’ve loved growing up watching you grow and change. You’ve helped me though my adulthood

its quite strange at the start of this video, i was just thinking man i really want to be able to stay home with my kiddos and be a rad Mom like Kristen… and then corey's story happened… Im ready to give up my job for a while to watch my kids grow, to help them grow into fine children. Perhaps one day i can get my hustle on outside of an office… before its too late.. This subject has been hitting me hard lately and very confused what i need to do. On one hand i bust my butt and make the most money i've ever made at a job for 10 hrs a day, and it allows me to make sure all my kids needs are met, but then on the other hand… is it worth it to miss my kids grow up? AYYYE i am in NO WAY knocking either of you for being able to stay home and be with your kiddos, its quite inspiring and i've always looked up to Corey since almost the start of SMP films, and look up to both of you as parents <3 thank you for sharing your lives with us interwebz folk

I've been in that man's position before. I worked at a nursing home and we were short handed. Our supervisor, who was asked BEFORE she was hired if she could cover shifts when we were short handed. She said yes but never did. I was the one that got stuck with every shift. This resulted in me working almost 130-150 hours per pay period (two weeks). I hardly ever saw my kid, and when I did, I was exhausted. My daycare lady taught him how to crawl and walk. I wasn't there for his first steps. I quit pretty much immediately.

I hardly ever get to see my husband either. He works night and I work days. I see him more than I use to, but it's still not enough.

I'm a stay at home mom and the father of my kid's provide for us. But because of that, he works 12 days straight, and sees our kids for 2 days. So he only sees them 4 days a month. Our kids go to school at 8am, and go to bed at 7pm. He works 12pm to 12am and so he's sleeping for work when we leave. and the kids are sleeping when he gets home. So for 12 days straight our kids don't see him. However, I'm incredibly blessed and thankful that they're able to have at least one stay at home parent because he provides for us!

I work security myself, the first thing I did was explain how much time with my family meant to me. The company I work for has done everything possible to work around that for me! I take a bit of a hit in pay, but it's totally worth it!

I thinks it's nice you get to be with your children. It's a blessing for you and Kristen and it's nice. For my husband and I it's just been him and I for a long time, then we were blessed to be parents to twins. I was working before but I quit my job to be a mom, but he's in the military. There's a story behind this but I'm not gonna explain. But I am happy to say that right now my husband and I are good. Were blessed with family who have just given us stuff because there happy that we finally have babies after being married and no kids for almost 14 years. My parents lol are so happy they has grand babies again we don't need to spend money because her and my dad are buying things out the wahoo for both of them. God has blessed us at the right time. My husband and I have gone through two miscarriages the recent one was thanksgiving 2016. But I feel for the guy who has to work but can't see his kids. I've seen family's in his shoe.
